11 Questions to Non-Messianics

Important Questions Posed to the Non-Believers in

Yahoshua as the Promised Messiyah

By Obadiyah Ysra

Shalom to the house of Israyl.

I would like to pose a few questions to the Israylite brothers and sisters who do not believe in Yahoshua as the Messiyah—the non-messianic believers—especially those claiming to be Moreh or teachers.  You should have answers to the questions I am about to present.  If not then something is wrong with your belief and you should consider the truth.

1. What prophet is likened unto Moses that is mentioned in Deuteronomy 18?

Deuteronomy 18:15 - YAH will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy bretheren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

v. 18 - I will raise up a Prophet from among their brethren like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Let’s use truth.  Moses was unlike any other prophet.  Yah spoke to him face to face (Numbers 12:6-8).  He was a god to Pharaoh with his own prophet, Aaron (Exodus 7:1).  He was a deliverer and savior (Hosea 12:13).  He was an intercessor and law teacher (Exodus 19:8, 20:18-19).  Who is this prophet that was made a god, deliver, an intercessor, and law teach like Moshe?  Who also beheld Yah’s similitude?  If this is not Yahoshua, then who could it be?

2. Who is the branch that Yah shall raise from the root of Dawid’s (David) earthly father, Jesse?

Isaiyah 11:1 - And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

v. 2 - And the spirit of YAH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAH;

Jeremiyah 23:5 - Behold, the days come, saith YAH, that I will raise unto Dawid a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

v. 6 - In his days Judah (Yahudah) shall be saved, and Israyl shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called: YAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

v. 7 - Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Yah, that they shall no more say, Yah liveth, which brought up the children of Israyl out of the land of Egypt;

v. 8 - But, Yah liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israyl out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Jeremiyah 33:15 - In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto Dawid; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

v. 16 - In those days shall Judah (Yahudah) be saved, and Jerusalem dwell in safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, Yah our Righteousness.

v. 17 - For thus saith YAH; Dawid shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israyl;

Let's use truth.  The Branch has to come from the lineage of King Dawid of the Tribe of Yahudah (Judah).  The Branch is not King Dawid. He shall be a righteous King, executing judgment and righteousness in the land of Israyl.  During his reign, the nation of Israyl will be a nation again and reside in our land under our own fig tree (laws).  If Yahoshuah is not the Branch, who could it be?  If the Branch has not yet come, then the Israylite who is the branch must be able to trace his lineage back to Dawid's father, Jesse.

3. Who is the Messiyah, the Prince, spoken of in Daniyl/Daniyah (9:24-26)?

Daniyah 9: 24 - Seventy weeks (490 years) are determined upon thy people and upon the holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

v. 25 - Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiyah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and and two (62) weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

v. 26 - And after threescore and two (62) weeks shall Messiyah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sancutary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Let's use truth.  Who is the Messiyah that shall appear in a 483 year period after the commandments to restore and build Jerusalem?  Who is the Messiyah that shall be cut off but not for Himself?  Who is Daniyah speaking of?  Who appears on the scene to fulfill that prophecy?

  • From the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiyah would be 62 "weeks" and 7 "weeks" or 69 "sevens" in Hebrew (i.e. 483 days / years).

  • The streets and walls will be rebuilt in troubled times.  After the 62 "weeks" (434 years) the Messiyah would be "cut off."

  • The Messiyah will "confirm the covenant with many for 'one week' (7 years)."  In the midst of that, he will cause sacrifices to cease.  This will start the chain of events that leads to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E.

  • If Yahoshua did not fulfull this prophecy, then please, show from scripture who did?

4. Who is Isaiyah 53 talking about in verses 1-12?

Isaiyah 53:1 - Who hath believed our report?  and to whom is the arm of YAH revealed?

v. 2 - For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall seehim, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

v. 3 - He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

v. 4 - Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of YAH, and afflicted.

v. 5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

v. 6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YAH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

v. 7 - He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

v. 8 - He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people he was stricken.

v. 9 - And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

v. 10 - Yet it pleased YAH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YAH shall prosper in his hand.

v. 11 - He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

v. 12 - Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the trangressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Let's use truth.  Isaiyah was a Hebrew prophet.  When he spoke this prophecy he was speaking to a Hebrew Israylite audience.  For those of you who say Isaiyah  is speaking about Israyl, how can that be?  Isaiyah speaks of a man.  In verse 5,  he says:  "HE was wounded for our sins (transgressions)."  Verse 6 says:  YAH has laid on HIM the sins (iniquity) of us all. Who is the ALL referring to?  It is referring to Israyl.  Yah has laid the sins of Israyl upon him—a person.

Who is this person whom Yah has laid the sins of Israyl upon?

It also states in verse 12 that He (not "They" or "Us") bear the sins of many and made intercession for the sinners.  This cannot be Israyl making intercession for the sinners, when Israyl as a nation is the biggest law breaker.  This man in Isaiyah 53 will carry the sins of the people and be an intercessor, just as Moses. Who is this speaking about?  Give us an answer from scripture.

5. Who is the lowly King spoken of by Zechariyah, the prophet?

Zechariyah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

v. 10 - And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace to the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

v. 11 - As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

Let's use truth.  What lowly Israylite King riding upon an ass?  Who is this King who comes riding upon an ass and having dominion from sea to sea to the ends of the earth?  Who is this and who fulfilled this prophecy?  Has it been fulfilled?  Who is the one that was pierced that everybody shall mourn over as it is spoken of by Zechariyah 12:10?

Zechariyah 12:10 - And I will pour upon the house of Dawid, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and they shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

Again, let's use truth.  Who is the one that was pierced?  This was not Dawid and most certainly was not Yah.  And why shall everybody mourn when they see him, whom they have pierced?

6.  Who is the virgin that shall give birth to a son spoken of in Isaiyah 7:14?

Isaiyah 7:14 - Therefore YAH  himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuyl.

Let's use truth.  If you believe the virgin in this verse is speaking of a young woman, then explain why that is a sign.  The verse says Yah shall give a SIGN.  Just as Yah said the curses of Deuteronomy 28 are for a sign upon Israyl's descendants forever;  just as Yah gave Moses a sign so he could show the children of Israyl who sent him;  signs are indicators.  If the virgin giving birth in Isaiyah 7:14 means a young woman, then the question must be asked:  How is this a sign?

Let's say the population of Israyl was about 3 million people, which means at any given time a young woman is giving birth.  You can have hundreds of young women giving birth monthly.  So how is a common act such as a young woman giving birth a sign?  How can you know which one has the special seed?

All the signs Yah has given throughout the scripture are distinct.  You will know without a doubt that this is a sign from Yah.

The virgin spoken of in Isaiyah is speaking about a woman who has never been touched sexually by a man yet she has conceived a child.  Who did this happen to?  In the history of Israyl, what Israylite woman gave birth to a child without having intercourse?  This is the sign Yah said He would give.  This sign will indicate this woman has bore the child spoken of in phrophecy.  Who is the virgin?

7. Who is King Dawid speaking about in Psalms 110? Who is Dawid's Master?

Psalms 110: 1 - YAH said unto my Master, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

v. 2 - YAH shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

v. 3 - Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

v. 4 - YAH hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

v. 5 - YAH at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

v. 6 - He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

v. 7 - He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Let's use truth.  King Dawid says he has a Master who is sitting at the right hand of Yah.  Who is Dawid talking about?  Not himself!  Who is Dawid's Master who is sitting on the right hand of Yah?

8. Does Yah accept human sacrifice?

Genesis 22:2 - And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriyah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

v. 3 - And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which YAH had told him.

v. 4 - Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

v. 5 - And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

v. 6 - And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and they went both of them together.

Father Abraham was told by Yah to sacrifice his son, Isaac.  Abraham did not argue with Yah when he was told to do this.  He did not say, "Almighty, you don't accept human sacrifice!"  Abraham was faithful and did what he was told.  Why did Yah tell him to sacrifice his son?  What was the significance of this event?  Why didn't Yah tell him to sacrifice his son, Ishmayl?  You brothers and sisters have little understanding of Yah.

9. If the Messiyah has not yet come, how you are paying for your sins today?

The temple is gone and the Levites are scattered.  What is your sin offering today? More importantly, is it acceptable to Yah?

10. If the New Testament is a Greek book, who are the Greeks who wrote it AND how do they have such a high understanding of scripture?

Understanding is given to Israyl.  The New Testament is filled with revelations of the "Old."  If Greeks wrote the New Testament, who did they study under?

11. If you believe the New Testament is a false book, then how are the prophecies that were written 2,000 years ago coming to pass as we speak?

Matthew 24: 6 - And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

v. 7 - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Who is the prophet like Moses?  Who is the intercessor who has the sins of Israyl upon him?  Who is the virgin that shall give birth to a son?  Who is the Messiyah, the Prince, that was prophesied to appear in a 483 year period?  Who is the lowly King of Israyl who came riding upon an ass?  Who is Dawid's Master that is sitting on the right hand of Yah?

Is the Mark of the Beast, the Man of Sin, the resurrections, etc., false prophecies?  Because they are from the New Testament.

These are critical questions that you brothers and sisters need to answer.

Conclusion

If you are a new Israylite going down the path of not believing Yahoshua is the one sent by Yah to redeem Yah's people, you need to have these questions answered.  Ask these questions to your teacher or whomever you are studying with or under.  It's impossible to come to Yah without Yahoshua, just as it was impossible for the children of Israyl to come to Yah without Moshe.  The people talked to Moshe and Moshe talked to Yah on their behalf.  The same is still true today.  Our prayers have to go to Yahoshua and he gives them to Yah.  He is the intercessor just as Moses was.

Messianic Hebrews are not Christians.  We do not believe in the Messiyah the same way they believe.  Our belief is scriptural where theirs is not.  The prophecies are clear about a coming Messiyah that will carry the burden of Israyl's sin.

Although you are Israyl according to the flesh, you non-Messianics lack understanding and are far from Yah as a result.  If you do not repent, you will be counted among the transgressors (sinners).  Your eternal soul will suffer the same fate as all the wicked (including Satan)—eternity in the lake of fire.  HalleluYAH.
