Was Pharaoh Rameses II

White or Black?

Learning How to Research with Understanding in Order to Keep the Good Information and Delete the Bad

By Obadiyah Ysrayl

Shalom to the House of Israyl, the 12 tribes scattered worldwide.

According to the Gentiles, we are living in the AGE OF INFORMATION.  I agree fully with their notion.  Yah told us that in these times knowledge shall be increased (Daniel 12:4).  For us living in the west, that information and knowledge is right at our fingertips 24/7.  In many of the large cities of the United States, there is a library on almost every corner.  The internet and computers are becoming more affordable.

The internet holds a wealth of knowledge.  You can learn about any subject or topic any time of the day or night, right from your home in your underwear if you so choose.  The information explosion has been great, but comes with its setbacks.  The overflow of information means there will be good info, but there will also be bad information which can easily throw an inexperienced researcher down the path of confusion.  I have witnessed this time and time again.  One thing research and experience has taught me is how to stay on track.  All the pieces must fit neatly into the puzzle.

The information you've read on the Israylite Heritage website is the result of years of research.  Because this info is in order you can see the bigger picture.  With the guidance of Yah I was able to stay on track.  I came across so much useless information over the years that if I added it to the site it would confuse every person who read it.  My point of writing this article is to WARN my people, Israyl, about the pitfalls that exist out there.

I want to use a primary example of how easy it is for you to get lost and confused.

There was a program featured on “The Discovery Channel” about the ancient Egyptian king, Rameses II, also known as Rameses the Great.  This Pharaoh ruled Egypt during the 19th dynasty; he is known and called the greatest Pharaoh in Egyptian History.  He ruled longer than any Pharaoh before or after him.  Many scholars believe Rameses was the Pharaoh mentioned in the book of Exodus—the one who refused to let Israyl go.  This may or may not be the case; yet this was the focus of the program.  According to Exodus 4, Yah told Pharaoh to let His people, Israyl, go.  If he refused, Yah would kill all the firstborn of Egypt.

Exodus 4:22 - And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith YAH, Israyl is my son, even my firstborn:

v. 23 - And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

Archaeologists believe they have found the tomb and skeletal remains of Rameses II's firstborn son.  The skull of this person they believe to be Rameses' firstborn has major damage to the side of his head.  To sum up this program, they are trying to make the scripture false because according to them, Rameses' son was probably murdered and not killed by the hand of Yah in the 10th plague.  I will deal with that theory in another article.  What really caught my attention about this program is the newly reconstructed image of Rameses II; made from his skeletal remains.  This image that they have constructed is nothing but a big lie—deception at its finest.

They have made Rameses into a white man.  After reading this site and viewing the pictures, statues, and tomb drawings of ancient Egyptians we know that information and image is false.  OR IS IT?  We have to examine the evidence to know for sure if the new European image of Rameses is real or not.  That is the key to research.  You must go where the evidence leads you.  If it leads you to a white, Gentile-looking Rameses then that is where we have to go.  But if the evidence is just the opposite and proves Rameses II to be a black-skinned man, then that is where we have to go.  In the legendary words of brother Johnny Cochran, “IF IT DOESN'T FIT YOU MUST ACQUIT.”

Remember we are dealing with truth and evidence.  I'm not an Egyptologist; my only interest in Egypt is to show the truth of who they were.  As we know the scriptures on numerous occasions physically compare us (Israylites) to the Egyptians.  In fact, it was next to impossible to identify an Egyptian from a Hebrew in physical appearance.  So it is important for us to know what those ancient people looked like.  I will begin by showing the new image of what the Gentiles have made of Rameses II.  Then I will show ancient images of Rameses II made by the Egyptians themselves.  Then let us decide what info to keep and what to throw out.

The Discovery Channel Lie

Did they have to make him look like an old American slave master or K.K.K grand wizard?

This is pure deception.  You can search the Egyptian historical record from the 19th dynasty through and through and you will not find anybody who resembles the above image.  Because we are researching with understanding, we know this cannot be an accurate image of the Egyptian Pharaoh; not because I said it or because I want the Egyptians to be black, but because the facts will lead us elsewhere.

Let’s examine the historical evidence.

Rameses II was the son of Seti I and the grandson of Rameses I.  Here are historical pictures of his father, mother, and grandfather taken from Egyptian temples and statues.

None of the above images resemble the new Gentile image of Rameses II.  You can clearly see his mother, father, and grandfather were black people.  Now let’s see how Rameses II was portrayed in Egyptian art.  The next images are of Rameses II taken from Egyptian temples and tombs.  Remember, these images are 3,000 to 4,000 years old; so this is historical evidence.

The Historical Evidence

Rameses the Great: His True Image

(hover over each image for a description & click to enlarge)

See how the evidence adds up that Rameses II was indeed black?  So how did these so-called "experts" get that new image of him?  Simple.  The new image was created with DECEPTION AND RACISM.  You have to be careful of anything you read or hear.  Many who have viewed this program will believe that image of Rameses II is true, especially Gentiles in the west.  This is what they want to believe.  From the evidence we have so far we can do away with the white image and keep the historical images.

There is a website called High Culture that has another image of Rameses II taken from his skeletal remains.  This new image is accurate as it aligns with the info we have seen so far.  Let’s look at the other NEW image of Rameses II.  This digital image was made using forensic science with high-end technology.  Be sure to read how this image came about on their website.

The Finished Product

The above image parallels the historical images of Rameses II, his family, and the ancient Egyptians as a whole.  It's more accurate than the one from The Discovery Channel program.

In the program they used the skull they've found to create an image of the man they believe was Rameses II's son.

Once again we need to ask where in the Egyptian record is there anybody who looks like this, especially in the family tree of Rameses II?  The historical record clearly shows Rameses II and his family to be black people.  Let’s look at the evidence again and separate the good information from the bad.

The evidence from the historical records proves the images from The Discovery Channel program are false.

When researching, at times you will come across so much information that it can cause confusion because the information can contradict itself.  In other words, information from one place may say something different from the information at another place even though they both are speaking about the same subject.  This Discovery Channel program will set confusion among those who do not know the truth.  You have to separate the good from the bad.  The new image of Rameses II from The Discovery Channel site is false and should be tossed out.

However, at the same time, The Discovery Channel aired two other programs in 2003 and 2004 that featured newly reconstructed images of King Tut and Queen Nefertiti.  These images are true because they fit the Egyptian historical record perfectly.

The Discovery Channel Truths

King Tut

The new image of King Tut (on the left) fits the historical image of him.  This is how we know the image made from his skeletal remains is accurate, unlike the image they created of Rameses II.

The Discovery Channel Truths

Queen Nefertiti

(click each image to enlarge)

Just as with King Tut, this new image of Queen Nefertiti is accurate because it matches the historical record.  Look at the image of her (on the right) holding her husband's hand.  It's the same image as the one created using forensic science.

I use both of the reconstructed images of King Tut and Queen Nefertiti when I am proving the identity of the ancient Egyptians and Hebrews.  Always go where the evidence and spirit of the Most High leads you.  Do not take everything you read as Gospel.  Compare it to the facts.  If it does not fit then it does not belong.

I must reiterate that I am not an Egyptologist.  I only use this example of Rameses II because it is a good one, and one that needs to be addressed.  This article is the beginning of a series of articles on researching and understanding.

I hope this has given you a little insight into researching and the deceptions of Satan.  The truth will always prevail over lies. S
halom.
