Israylite Heritage  Blogs

Welcome to the blog section of the Israylite Heritage Website.

In this area we will feature up to eight different blogs per month.  The blogs will deal with various subject titles that all pertain to the Israylite Way of living.  Our blog staff will consist of eight different writers who are followers of the Israylite walk.  Allow me to take a few moments to briefly introduce our writers.

Nii Kommey (Nii K) Botchway 41, is a design educator based in Port Elizabeth South Africa. Born in Ghana he grew up in Botswana and Lesotho before his family settled in South Africa. Nii K "woke up"  to The Truth of YAH and YAHoshua and who we are as YsraYLites in 2011 after a 10 year journey questioning the conditions of our people on the Afrikan continent and in the diaspora and asking The Most High to reveal himself to him. His interests lie in design and education and how both can be used as enablers in the development of individuals and communities in a holistic manner, and how we can return back to the original righteous design (intent) that YAH made us in. A lover of deep house music and a comic book geek Nii is the grateful and blessed father of an amazing 8 year old son.

AdaraYAH's  Bhat Ysrayl

Shalom fam this is Ahkoti (Sister) Shay. I am the isha (WIFE)  of MikaYAH BEN YSRAYL and a stay at home mom to our 5 year old bhat (Daughter). We reside in Kansas City Mo. I was born in Houston Texas and lived in Denver Co most of my life. Like a lot of Hebrews I grew up in a Christian home and developed a heart and mind just like the gods of Christianity (wood and stone) and was Mystery Babylon’s typical strong black woman. I never really saw myself as a Christian nor had much interest in the church. It wasn’t until I turned seventeen that I really started to read YAH’s Word but didn’t see it as having anything to do with me nor my people.  The only good advice I held onto from Christianity was my father telling his children the same way we studied our school books we better study Scripture the same too! Big todah (Thanks) to my physical father and I continued to obey that command.

Abiyah Lion Ysrayl

Shalom (peace) let me introduce myself I am Abiyah Ysrayl.  I grow up as child in the church in Christianity. I learned the bible is the truth and we need to be like the missiah. I was taught from Christianity that the laws was done away with, the laws are for the Jews and not for us Christians. We must be ourself and be as good as you can be, because nobody is perfect. It is even impossible to be perfect. Jesus is God and he brought new laws . Give your ten procent of you salary and more of this.  As I grew up I always was thinking on who am I and where do I really coming from. So there is where my search started. In my search I founded out who I am in relationship to Yah and the Universe.

Bedeyah Ben Ysrayl

BedeYah Ysrayl
I am a 46yr old male, living in Marietta, Ga. I was raised in a small town as a Southern Baptist. My uncle is the Pastor, my mother an associate minister and all of the family are the church members. Growing up, I always felt that there was something wrong with me because I couldn't accept us praying to a white jesus and a no named god for help. Why wasn't I ever touched by the holy ghost? After years of studying the Bible, I realized that we weren't being taught according to the Word, but according to the Traditions of Man! The best thing that has ever happened to me is hearing, receiving, and accepting the Truth of Abba YAH and the life examples of His Son, Yahoshua HaMashiach, who is my redemption and salvation! HalleluYAH!

Ahk-Ben Ysrayl

My name is Ahk-Ben Ysrayl, which means "A Brother Descended from Ysrayl". I've been walking with Yah through Yahoshua for about 8 years and it's been a true blessing. I am 33 years old, and currently reside in Kentucky D5. The name of this Blog is "Reflection-Selah". Here are a few definitions gathered from dictionary.com for the word Reflection: An image; representation; counterpart. A fixing thoughts on something, careful consideration. A thought occurring in consideration or meditation.

The Reflection Blog, will contain the "Selah" moments gathered during lessons given by our teachers at Israylite Heritage. And this blog will also contain "Selah" moments I have encountered during my walk. My prayer is that this blog will encourage those who don't know Yah to want to get to know him. And also encourage those in this walk to zoom in closer to the word of Yah so those whom he called can be his reflection to the world.

ShemuYah Ben Ysrayl

I am a husband and father of two.

My wife and I fought & struggled

to achieve what we thought was the

American Dream.

We moved to the south from a crime infested community in the North East and got a house in thesuburbs with about an acre of land; and even the white picket

fence to go with it. We traveled what felt to us, a long road ofsacrifice and discipline to repair our credit and prioritize our Life’s according to needs and wants. We achieved our goals.

That’s it; end of story.

Well not quite; the suburbs have not been exactly welcoming & full of the southern hospitality we dreamed about from all our HGTV house hunters conditioning. For an example: One of my retired neighbors runs the yard maintenance program at a

nearby bible college, which has a small pond on it. I asked if I could take my kids out to run some RC boats on the pond while we enjoyed a few milkshakes one summer; my neighbor thought it was a great idea & agreed.

Once we went to the pond; I was approached by a gentleman that introduced

himself as the Dean of the Bible College; who explained that although there were not posted any “No Trespassing” signs that he does reserve the right to ask me to leave. I humbly, replied “No problem” I will be on my way in a few minutes. He

smiled and sat by and waited until, I left.

MikaYah Ben Ysrayl

Bio:

I was born on the mean streets of Detroit in the summer of 1957 the third child of six, Five males and one female.  And I tell you as soon as I was able to recognize or remember anything I understood that I was not like most others, not better or worst just different.

By the teenage years myself and many others were out there fulfilling prophecy hanging out on the street corners. Well it didn’t take a whole lot of that to come to the realization that something just wasn’t right, So I started searching not knowing what I was searching for, I spent quite a few years walking around with what I later called a big question mark floating just above my head, like there was something there but I just couldn’t put my finger on it, yet it hounded me for years.  Please check out my first blog about my experience coming into this walk of life.

Boaz Ben Ysrayl

My name is Bo'az Ysrayl. I'm 34 years old and have been walking with Yah for nearly 6 years now. (5 if you count from my immersion date of 4/26/2011). I reside in the greater Metro Detroit area.

Now that you have met our writers please proceed to our feature blogs for the month of June.
