Reflection-Selah

Shalom (Peace) to everyone, and welcome to the Reflection-Selah Blog.

So, this is my first Blog On Your Mark, Get set, Ready, Go! That’s the first phrase that came to mind when starting this blog out, and I sat back and went wow. It’s a little more to that saying, when you think about it. The phrase is normally used at the start of a race. But it made me think what race are we running in this life? One thing is for sure, is this is not a short race for those seeking the face of Yah. To be the prized runner, you need to master “Endurance” and with that comes “Discipline”. First scripture that came to my mind is 1Corinthians 9:24-25

1st Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race indeed all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way as to obtain it.

25 And everyone who competes controls himself in every way. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we for an incorruptible crown.

Let’s reflect on the phrase “On Your Mark, Get Set, Ready, Go!” and 1st Corinthians 9:24-25

On your Mark – Are you where Yah told you to be?

Get Set – Are you settled, and rooted in Yah through Yahoshua?

Ready - Are you prepared mentally/spiritually for the Battle?

Go! – Let’s get it! What you waiting on? Race to the Kingdom!

So to conclude this first Blog, I just want to remind everyone (including myself) to remember we must endure the battle in the game of life to receive life. Never give up, and keep your eyes on the prize! Endure!
